We all have our favorite songs. I'm talking about the ones that bring you back to the place when you first heard them. The ones that make you sing along, dance, and feel a certain way. But what makes these songs sound good to us?

It's all about the mood. The most important aspect of a song is that it must portray a mood or feeling. Every song does this to a certain degree but the best songs really exaggerate it.

When you create a beat or song, make sure that you decide what type of mood you want to make the listener experience. Remember, you are in control of how they will feel when they listen to your song. Do you want to make the person happy? Sad? Excited? The choice is yours. Just make sure that you push it to an extreme degree.
